ALEXION AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

Long Wharf Terminal Building, ACE Mentor Program, New Haven

Students from the ACE New Haven Chapter's Wednesday Team chose to theoretically develop a new Ferry Terminal for the City of New Haven as part of the Construction Industry Round Table's ACE National Competition. The students selected an under-utilized piece of land in Long Wharf in an effort to revitalize the area and create a new multi-modal transportation hub with several innovative technologies. The Long Wharf Terminal Building strives to have profound social and economic impacts on the Greater New Haven area and focuses on a connected community with the primary goal of making sustainability accessible to all and educating the public.
