Russell Campaigne, AIA will introduce and demonstrate the REM Design Energy Modeling program for small projects, with case studies illustrating the value of this new decision-making tool in the design process. David Dickson, Associate AIA will present a case study of the Neighborhood Housing Services building in New Haven, which illustrates how to put all the elements together. In Renovation Materials & Finishes Lindsay Suter, AIA will take a critical look at the deployment of materials and finishes in the context of existing construction, addressing longevity & performance, content & toxicity, recycling & creative reuse, budget realities, and impossible choices. Each presentation will be followed by Q and A.
