Challenges and Opportunities of Introducing Sustainable Practices into Health Care Design

This session will contrast historically conservative design of HVAC systems for patient care areas with the growing need for high performance in health care construction.

Recent changes to ASHRAE Standard 170 "Ventilation for health care facilities" will be shown as a catalyst

leading to a new future for HVAC design for Patient Care

There is no cost for this program but we ask that you register so that we know how many attendees to expect.

Attendees should park in the parking lot which is in front of the hospital.  If possible, enter through the middle entrance which says, "Medical Offices (on the overhang) and "James Rybeck Medical Office Building" which is on the building.  At this entrance, proceed to the elevator and take it to the 2nd floor.  Off the elevator, take a left and then take a right and the conference room will be the first door on the right.

Note:  Avoid using the "main entrance" as this is a farther walk
